It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

My, my how time has flown by! I couldn't believe it when October was here and now we are well into November. I must say that this "season" is my absolute favorite because so much fun stuff occurs. Yes, it is super busy, but it is a fun kind of busy with celebrations, events, cooking, baking, and just getting together. People seem extra nice and the weather starts to get a little cooler here in AZ (finally dropping out of the 90's). I love the smells of Fall (lots of candles going) and the excitement of my kids as each holiday rolls around. Keegan is a little frustrated by the fact that Christmas stuff is already out when Thanksgiving has not happened yet, but I will admit that I am, too!

Vacation and Celebrations

Whew...it's hot here! Not transitioning too well to this heat after being in Colorado for 3 weeks. Even Keegan said "Mom, can we please move back to Colorado? It's too hot here!" Our trip was wonderful. I didn't really know how the kids would do away from home for 3 weeks and without Kevin for 2 of those weeks, but I had no reason to worry. We stayed plenty busy collecting bugs, pinecones, hiking, and picking flowers. Keegan had some special days with Oma going to the Wildlife Park and asking why some of the animals were "dead" and how they got "dead." Oma also took her hiking one day and let Keegan pick the path. Then, when Nana came for a visit Keegan chose to go swimming for her second time (I took her once and Oma took her once). Klay just hung out following his sister around, picking flowers and trying to put them in his hair. Oh, and Keegan caught her first fish; although, I don't think she actually touched it because she thought it might bite!




We also celebrated Oma's birthday and Keegan's birthday while we were there...it was so much fun. Keegan helped make Oma's cupcakes (she chose pink frosting). And for Keegan's birthday we had a Cars theme. I cannot believe that she is 4 now...the time has flown by...and little Klay-boy is 17 months old!



Keegan has decided to take a break from gymnastics and try a dance class again...we will see how that goes. It will be creative dance which might be more her speed! Kevin has also offered to take an art class with her so that should provide some interesting stories (pictures to come of the art projects).

Summer Fun

Even though it is not officially summer the heat has settled in here in Tucson. We have been enjoying the sunny days outside with lots of summer fun. Klay isn't a huge fan of our pool, but Keegan enjoys it and has decided to name it (actually, the giraffe pictured below) "Velma." She loves Velma lots and lots...it's pretty silly! Klay is more of a fan of our water table, especially when I fill it up with ice for him to play with. He also like the water hose a ton...just a slow trickle for him to drink from and he is one happy camper. Along with the summer temps comes his first big boy haircut. This is actually his third cut, but his first one that makes him look bigger. Looking at it now I wish I would have gotten it even shorter!

Where Has Time Gone

Yes, yes...I know that I am months behind on this whole blogging/keeping people up to date thing. Sorry! I always thought February was a busy month but never could figure out why...maybe because it has fewer days and everyone tries to fit stuff in? Maybe because vacations from Christmas and New Year's are now over and February seems like the first "real" month? But that's not right because now we are in May...yes, May! Well, I don't have an answer to where the time has gone but it seemed packed full even when it was still January (and it's MAY)...maybe it's that there are 2 kids involved now? Okay, enough of the guess work; the updates are going to continue!

The first of February was difficult for us all...Kevin's brother, Jimmy, passed away. That might be one of the reasons I haven't posted in a bit...I just didn't know what to say...and still really don't. Jimmy is so loved and greatly missed. To be quite honest, I really never thought this is something that our family would be going through at this point in our life, but it is in God's hands and that is what is a comfort to our family. I think my sister-in-law is so good with words so if you get a chance read her blog at www.theyorkhouse.blogspot.com.

Klay has now turned 1 (is 14 months at this point)! WOW! Where has the year gone? It passed by so quickly. Everyone that has more than 1 child told me "the time will pass so fast with this one...just soak it in." Man, they were right. I just look at Klay and really cannot believe that it has been a year. We celebrated with my parents and Kevin's parents here in Tucson. Klay loved his soccer ball cake. When Keegan was 1 she was so sweet and shared bites with everyone, but not our Klay-boy. That cake was his and nobody else could have any.

Keegan has decided that dance isn't her thing and has moved on to gymnastics. It suits her well, and she loves going. I will try to get some pics on here of her in her cute little leotard! She is actually pretty good...always has had good coordination, but she just loves going which makes me happy!

We had our first trip to the E.R. with a child. Klay fell out of his dump truck right onto our patio. Oh, it was AWFUL! I called our neighbor to help me "assess" the situation and of course, she wasn't home. So, I called Kevin just frantic...interrupted him while he was hitting some balls at the range and asked him to get here and fast. We waited it out that day and then the next I decided that I wasn't comfortable with it anymore and wanted him to be looked at. Oh, and I decided this while Kevin was playing golf...oops! So, off we went to the ER...surrounded by masked swine flu people. Luckily, they got us in a room quickly! Turns out it is probably a slight fracture but nothing needs to be done. Whew...at least it put my mind at ease!

So, that's where we are at right now. Summer is getting ready to be here...I think we hit 100 degrees today! Yikes! I will see what I can find as far as pictures go and get them up as soon as I can.

The Kiddos: An Update

So, some of you might know and others may not that Klay had an ear infection in each ear at the beginning of December, which was news to me because he wasn't fussy or anything like that (it was discovered at a well baby check). We waited it out until after getting home from Colorado to see if it would treat itself and it did so his ears are all clear! Now, he is either a little sick or getting another tooth (high possibility), and is a little grumpy but nothing too bad.

Keegan started her tap dance class on Thursday. I had my fingers-crossed that it would go well and it did. She told me that she had a lot of fun...plus, there is another little girl in there that is more talkative than Keegan so this might keep her out of "trouble" with the teacher! Let's just hope that little girl and Keegan don't sit together at all...that would definitely mean trouble!

Kevin is a little sick...always happens when we leave AZ and then come back. I don't know what he is allergic to but something around here really gets him so we are hoping he is on the mend, too.

Welcome to 2009

Wow...it's been a busy time around the York house! Let's start with the weekend before Christmas and go from there. We went to a neighborhood called Winterhaven and took a horse-drawn wagon ride through it to see the lights with some friends. The kids were hilarious screaming out "Merry Christmas" to everyone they saw! Then on Saturday mid-morning we took Keegan to the zoo for brunch with Santa. It was great because it was a small group, they brought out animals for the kids to touch, there were crafts and then a story-teller, too. Keegan loved Santa this year...she kept going over to him to sit in his lap and talk to him...it was a huge change from last year with the crying! Fast forward a few days to Christmas Eve. Our Christmas Eve tradition is to eat tamales and get things ready for Santa. We actually ordered our tamales on time this year...except not quite early enough to get the ones we actually wanted (green chile and corn). Oh well! We did learn, however, to order in October of next year so that we can get the exact ones we want. After eating our yummy dinner Keegan made a plate of cookies, cashews, carrots, and milk for Santa. Then we headed outside to sprinkle some oatmeal in the yard for the reindeer and some glitter so that Santa could find his way. Keegan was super excited and went to bed...except she stayed up for a while chatting away about what was going to happen that night (Kevin and I were downstairs listening on the monitor). Christmas morning came and our sweet little Keegan was an EARLY riser. We heard her chatting away at around 5:30 in the morning. Kevin went in to tell her to hush and then around 6:30 we heard her again (we were up already) saying something about us being "mean because she just wanted to look at her presents." Feeling slightly guilty at that point (it IS Christmas and she IS 3) we met her at the top of the stairs (she "snuck" out of her room) and let her come down. Then the fun of the presents began! She had a blast opening presents and seeing what Santa brought. Klay liked crawling around in the mess and was probably a little confused by it all, too. We took a break for breakfast (honey-pecan baked French toast) and then continued with our Christmas fun...opening, playing, and just hanging out with each other. We were also in the process of packing and getting ready to leave the following day for Pagosa Springs, Colorado. To end the night we had our traditional Christmas dinner...a brisket...yummy! Even Klay liked that...he was reaching across the table to try to get the scraps of it!

The day after Christmas we loaded up the car and headed out for Colorado at 7:45 in the morning. The trip went well...we stopped in Albuquerque and spent the night with our friends the Dalton's. Sleeping didn't go too well there for the kiddos. Keegan and Klay were sharing a room and Keegan felt that her brother "needed" some animals in his bad and was throwing them in the crib which woke him up. This happened 3 times or so and then she finally gave up and went to sleep (sort of). The next day we got up and headed for Pagosa (only about 4 hours away) with our friends Kim and Matt and their boys Caden (3) and Lance (2). It was so nice to just get away and hang out with friends! We tried out snow-shoeing for the first time and it was a lot of fun (I was a little sore the next day, though). We also went to the springs, out to eat, played lots of games, and of course playing in the snow. Kevin and Matt worked for hours on a sledding hill for the kids. It might have been more for them, though, since they ended up being the only ones to really use it! They even tried to use one of the cars to pull the sled up the hill after people were finished using it (the end result was a broken roof rack on Kim and Matt's car). We even actually stayed up past midnight on New Year's which is amazing! The trip ended with a steak dinner (after the kiddos went to bed) and a lot of talking and relaxing. It was a fantastic trip, and I was a little sad to come home (as always).





So, there are no huge New Year's resolutions from us. My "goals" are trying out 2 new classes at the gym, be a better listener, and read the Bible cover to cover. Kevin's is to eat a little bit better.

Now it's back to the normal routine. It's actually good to get back into the swing of things. Keegan starts back to school tomorrow so it's just me and Klay-boy. She starts tap this week, too...she told me she only wanted to take a class where she can have her tap shoes on (so, no ballet this time). Kevin will probably be slammed at work being that he took a week off but hopefully, it's not too bad for him! And me...well, I will just be doing the usual plus getting the kiddos back into a routine after 2 weeks out of preschool and 1 week of vacation!

Being Thankful

I absolutely cannot believe that Thanksgiving is now over and Christmas is on its way. Wow, what a fast November! Our really good friends, Heath and Andrea (along with their boys Heath and Haydan) came out from Austin to visit us in Tucson. I have been looking forward to this for a long time because we don't see them too often so it's a treat to actually get to spend some quality time together. They arrived on Wednesday evening to a very excited Keegan who had been asking all day if they were here yet. We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Day together...Kevin smoked a turkey all day plus all the rest of the good stuff! Friday Andrea and I got to go workout together, and the boys got to play some golf. The rest of the time was just spent playing, laughing, and talking. We all had a great long week/end together, and I was very sad to see them go but am excited to see them again in the near future!

What we are thankful for this year:

Keegan: carrots, broccoli, school, and family
Klay: I will speak for him and say food
Kevin: healthy family, a good/stable job, relationship with God
Kelli: wonderful husband, healthy kiddos, being content, friends

Polar Express

I have to admit that I have been anxiously awaiting "our" weekend to head to Williams, AZ to ride on The Polar Express. We went last year with Keegan for the first time and had a blast. So, we decided that this is going to be an annual event for us. BUT, we didn't make reservations "early" enough (like a year in advance) so we only had one weekend to choose from and November 15th was it. It was rather early, but it was nice because it wasn't too cold with kiddos in tow (plus, Klay wants to be on the ground all the time moving around and there was no snow on the ground). I will admit that Keegan was slightly disappointed that there wasn't any snow...she kept asking where it was. Anyhow, a great time was had by all. We boarded the train at 6:30 p.m., made our trip to the North Pole where Santa boarded the train and gave each child a silver bell. And to top it off Keegan joined our waitress in singing Frosty the Snowman to everyone on board (she wasn't very loud, but I was impressed that she stayed up there with all eyes on her...she gets a little shy at times). I hope that in the few years other people will join us...it is such a fun time!

Glider ride

For those of you that haven't heard. Kelli got me a gift certificate for a glider ride for my big 3-0. I was completely shocked!!! This was something I said I wanted to do a long time ago and I can't believe she remembered. Simply put...It was amazing. To be in an aircraft that does not have engines (I know sounds a little scary) but it was so peaceful. The only way I know how to describe it is, imagine what it would be like to be a bird. Flying through the air with no noise just looking down on everything and trusting the wind to keep you from falling.
The "airport" (more like a dirt run way) was way out in the desert. Two and a half hours from Tucson. For those that are unfamiliar with Arizona if you drive two and a half hours from Tucson in any direction you are in the middle of the desert. You climb into this Small aircraft with a rope attached to a small prop plane in front of you. The plane starts and leaves the ground and you follow shortly afterwards. after climbing to about 5000 feet into the air, the rope is released and you are flying based strictly on aerodynamics that some engineer came up with. The goal of gliding is to find "thermals" which are pockets of air rising which in turn pushes the aircraft up allowing you to stay in the air longer. It is more difficult than it sounds.
After about fifteen minutes into it, any of you that know me, know what I asked. CAN I FLY???? The pilot with me was really nice and said sure. Needless to say I was the source of us having to land shortly after. I was not as successful as he at find the "thermals." HA!
If you ever get the opportunity to take a glider ride...DO IT. It is one of the coolest things I have ever done.

Where to Start

Alright, so I have been horrible about keeping anyone up-to-date so now I am playing catch up before Halloween because I know I will want to post pictures of our little trick-or-treaters. So, let's see...

Kevin has started his travels for work. Not much time away at all, but it's enough to keep him busy and give him a challenge. He got to go up to Phoenix for the weekend to meet up with his friends and play some golf. He had a good time getting to see them! He also went on a glider ride, but I will have him post on that since I wasn't there!

Klay is officially crawling and into everything now. It's cute, but Keegan doesn't seem to like it yet. She is having a really hard time sharing anything at all with him. He's sick right now, and I am hoping that it's just a mixture of teething and a slight change in the weather! My fingers are crossed!


We are awaiting the "true" fall weather here. Today it's only supposed to be 82 (somehow it feels hotter), but I think we are closer to 90 by Sunday...yuck! We did, however, have our 1st Annual Fall Family Get-together last weekend. We had a bouncy house, decorated pumpkins with paint, glitter, etc and just had a great time with all of our friends (31 total with 15 of those being kids). We all loved the bouncy house. As the crowd thinned out we (the adults) even attempted some tricks...it got the kids laughing and nobody got hurt! The man that delivered the bouncy house was so, so nice! He even played ball with Keegan for a bit when he came to pick it up. That night before bed Keegan prayed and thanked God for "the man he sent to play ball with her." It was so sweet! Keegan's ballet class is coming to an end. I think there are only 3 classes left. She has now taken a liking to her teacher, Miss Didi. She even colored a picture for her last week (maybe to get on her good side?). She wants to take dance again so we will see what parks and rec is offering during the next session. Oma will get to see her grand finale class when she comes out for a visit in November. Hopefully, Keegan will be able to concentrate and will show-off a little extra since she will have an audience!

Pumpkin Patch

It's that time of year again! Time to head to the pumpkin patch! Every year while living in Arizona we have tried out a new spot; this year we chose Agua Linda Farm. It was beautiful with the mountains in the background and huge Mesquite trees to have a picnic under (and for Keegan to climb on). We had a great day.

Sibling Love

Alright, if you aren't into sort of mushy stuff then stop reading now. But, if you are then this might be just your thing. It just amazes me at Klay's reaction to his big sister, Keegan. You would think that I might be used to it by now...after 7 months, but I'm not. He is so funny! He responds so much to her...even when she is waking from a nap, and I have him downstairs...he hears her voice on the monitor and starts smiling, laughing, and bouncing around. When she wakes up (either in the morning or after a nap) he cannot wait for me to open her door, and he actually is straining his neck to see exactly where she is. Now, he is a Mommy's boy right at this point in time, but there are many days when I can't do anything to make him calm down but just leave it to Keegan to walk into the room talking in her super high-pitched voice, being really rough with him, and he starts talking, smiling and squawking away. It is so neat to see this interaction so early on. I am hoping it is one of those things that I will always just smile about because it is just so, so sweet, and it is neat to witness such an incredible bond between them!

Random Kid Stuff

Here are some videos of the kiddos. These are sure to put a smile on your face especially if you are having a bad day! Keegan decided to put on a "tap show" for us this evening...very entertaining. The other is Klay working on his crawling.

Out-smarting Mom

Just one more piece of information on Keegan...I know...it's never-ending! She has her yellow blankie that means everything to her. She sleeps with it, sniffs it, takes it in the car, and it apparently smells like vanilla (hmmm). Anyhow, I thought that the blankie would be a great thing to take away if needed for discipline purposes...it is so special to her. Well, it did get taken away, and she was upset because she didn't get it at night and she "needed to sniff it." BUT, the next day after she had gotten it back I asked her if she wanted to take it with us in the car. To my amazement (because we take this in the car ALL the time) she said "no, Mom, I am just fine without it!" So, now I am wondering what her little brain is thinking...maybe she is hoping I won't take it away again if she acts like she doesn't care about it! She is always keeping me on my toes!

Making Progress

So, after my "ranting and raving" session I felt much better. I just needed a place to vent and let it go! Keegan and I talked over the weekend (sounds so formal) about what she should do with her anger and/or frustration. She thought about it for a bit and then said "I know, Mom! I have an idea!" She was so excited and continued with "whenever I get really mad I will go into the study and chill off for a little bit. That will be a great idea, Mom!" First off...yahoo that she is thinking all by herself and came up with this "plan." Secondly, using the phrase "chill off" just cracked me up (and Kevin, too). So, I asked where she would go if she happened to be upstairs and got upset...in her room was her reply. So...what about at school then...her reply was behind the dollhouse. So far she hasn't used her chill off rooms, but she knows where to go if she needs them! Oh, and as far as her funny little phrases go...I put her in timeout the other day and then asked her to come over to talk to me. She said "Sup, Mom?" I looked at Kevin in the kitchen and asked him "did she just say what's up all slurred together?" That was a definite yes...we just laughed and laughed...punishment OVER.

Also, I just want to congratulate my hubby on a "new" job position at work. He is now a Branch Coordinator and will be going from branch to branch to kind of oversee operations and help out where needed. It's a new position at APD so none of us really know what is actually going to happen with this...but we will see where it takes him. He loves being challenged so I think this will be a great place for him right now. He is super excited about this, and I know he will do an awesome job!

Oh, and please just say a little prayer come Thursday morning for our ballet/tap class! I just really don't want her getting kicked out again...but am prepared for it if it happens!

Our Lovely Keegan

So, I guess that we are going through an interesting period (that's a nice way of putting it) with our lovely, angelic Keegan. I know some of you are thinking (because we have talked over the past few days) that I am just getting pretty much what I deserve...but was I strong-willed as a 3 year old? I am assuming that the answer to this is a big YES. I know I was as a teen and even still today, but this child is absolutely wearing me out. Let me just say that on Thursday our beautiful little ballerina got kicked out of class for yelling at the teacher because she did not want to do what was asked of her! I was absolutely embarrassed...plus, then she decided to hit me in the lobby area where all the other parents were waiting. That was just icing on the cake. Don't get me wrong...I love her dearly, she makes me laugh on an hourly basis, and she is truly a sweet hearted child. BUT...she defies authority just basically to see how far she can get. I know you are probably thinking...oh, that's just a three year old for you, but it's a little different...she just has a strong personality. She is not a compliant child, really, and many of the kiddos she hangs out with are so at times that makes me feel like I am just not doing something right as a mom. I know this is just the beginning of this feeling, but it is a horrible feeling to have! Kevin and I had a sit down "meeting" on Thursday evening and had to re-evaluate and change our discipline method to see if something else will work (time outs do not work, taking books away kind of works, etc). Please (to any parents of young children reading this) if you have a compliant child be thankful and to those of you that don't...know that there are other's out there in the same boat as you are (even if they aren't talking). Also, don't ever think that a parent isn't trying their hardest to get their children "under control"...they probably are trying and it just takes a lot more for their child than it might for yours (just something to keep in mind). I don't know why so many of us find it necessary to make it seem like there are no issues at home with our children...but in reality we all deal with something in our own way. I am, however, feeling much better with a copy of "The New Strong Willed Child" by Dr. James Dobson in hand...it's a good read and is making me feel a lot better about things in the York house right now! Alright...I am finished with my ranting!

And our little Klay...well, he is still trying to figure out this crawling business. he does a pretty good lunge forward and then starts crying. I am sure he will have it all figured out in no time! And can you believe that he will be 7 months old this week? Time flies by around here!

Dance Class

Today was Keegan's first time ever in a dance class. She is taking a ballet/tap class through Tucson parks and recreation. I wasn't quite sure how she would do once she got there and figured out that she had to listen to a teacher, but she never stops surprising me! She did a great job at listening, and she just cracked me up (and she is SUPER cute)! I hope you enjoy...

Summer Summed Up

So, I guess Summer has kind of ended, and we are moving into the Fall...except here in Arizona where we still are over 100 for I don't know how much longer! No complaints...we just stay in the pool a lot and wear shorts for many more months. Anyway, with school now starting and Labor Day over...I think summer is "officially" over, and I wanted to take a look back at our crazy, fun one!

Texas Trip:
The past couple of years we have traveled to Texas during the Memorial Day holiday. This was Klay's first plane trip and was fairly uneventful as far as that goes. Keegan loves planes...she has probably flown more at the age of three than many people do in their entire lives. We split our time between Kevin's parents lake home, and my parents home. Keegan enjoyed being at the lake, riding on the boat, and just playing outside. Oh, and she really liked riding and "driving" the Pro-hauler. In Richardson she liked swimming in the pool and playing in her "colorful, wonderful room." We also took her to Spring Creek Farm to feed all of the animals. A little goat happened to "escape" from it's fencing and if we owned a farm I think it might have come home with us! She loved it and just followed it around all over the place...it was quite funny! I do have to admit...it was a cute little thing! It was so neat for our kids (and us, too) to see aunts, uncles, grand/great grandparents, cousins, etc. We were truly exhausted from our trip, but we had a fabulous time.

Italy Trip:
Kevin and I got an opportunity to go to Florence and Rome for 10 days in June this year through Kevin's work. I have to admit that it was hard to leave my kiddos (Klay was only 4 months old), but we had a wonderful time. The GE trip was absolutely increbible...wonderful food, great tours, fabulous people, and of course...just time for Kevin and myself which is a rarity with 2 little ones! Plus, the kids had a great time at Oma and Opa's house!

Mexico Trip:
Yes, we finally took Keegan to the beach. She has been wanting this day to come for a long, long time. We flew to Dallas, and we met up with my sister and her family, and my parents for a trip to Cozumel. In all there were 12 of us. We had a great time...it was fun seeing everyone and just getting to hang out. The little girls (Keegan, 3 and Gabbi, 4 1/2) just had a great time together (well, most of the time). They are both very strong willed girls so it was funny to see them interact. They liked going on iguana hunts, making "sand" babies and then setting them free in the water, playing pony (Gabbi was the pony), and painting. We also celebrated Kevin's 30th birthday there on the beach! What a day and week. The kids did well with all of the traveling, too. We had so much fun and made so many memories!

Mini-Vacation:
Kevin's parents visited this past weekend so we decided to take time out and relax at a Tucson resort called Loew's Ventana Canyon. Being the little traveler that she is, Keegan was all about exploring a new hotel! We swam, played ping-pong, and just enjoyed each other for the weekend. It was a great time, and I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Tucson. It was absolutely beautiful...lots of nature trails and wildlife (tarantulas, snakes, scorpions...welcome to the desert!). To end our wonderful weekend we tried out a burger and wine bar called Zinburger...really tasty!

First Day of Preschool

Well, the first day of preschool was a success. Keegan enjoyed herself and showed me her painting of an apple when I came to pick her up. She was all over the place trying to show me things, and when I finally got her out (because Klay was a little upset) she told me that she was a big 3 year old. Her teacher, Miss Janice, said that Keegan did well and that every year she has one student that could/would handle the class if she or her assistant were absent. And yes...that would be Keegan. She just laughed about it, and I am thinking either born leader or know it all/bossy girl. Oh well...Keegan is stubborn in her thinking (I don't know where she would get that!) so hopefully, this will carry over into her later life. Miss Janice also told me that she had to let Keegan know that she was the teacher and she would help the other kids, and Keegan said "well, I am just trying to help everyone." All in all, it was a great day for her, and she can't wait to go back. This month they are learning about apples and doing different projects centered around that theme...I am sure Keegan will be full of information for me as time goes on!

Prepping for Preschool

Can you believe it? I really can't! Keegan starts preschool next Wednesday. I went to a Meet the Teacher night last night which really calmed my nerves. I know...that sounds silly, but for those of you that don't know...I DON'T LIKE CHANGE OR THE UNKNOWN. I like what I know and what I am comfortable with...oh, and I am a worry wart. So, I needed to know all the new rules of preschool: how to sign in/out, where Keegan's class is, what if I am running late, etc, etc. Her teacher's name is Miss Janice, and I adore her (she is also the preschool director). So, today was Keegan's day to meet her new teacher and see her new classroom. She immediately found her own cubby and proceeded to the playdough table where she made something for "daddy" (um, but he wasn't there and we couldn't take it with us so she just left it in the center of the table for him). Then, she got to make a magnet with stickers on it to bring home. She had absolutely no problem with this transition today...it was so fun! Anyway, I had to literally drag her out of this room so she could go to her Mother's Day Out room. We will miss her old teachers, but I think she is more than ready to move on!

Come to find out Keegan visisted her new classroom 2 more times today while at Mother's Day Out. I guess she is actually more than ready for this!
